  We 3 people stayed here . The room was trendy and new .But the staff wouldn't give a doona for the 3rd person eventhough we paid extra for the 3rd person .It is winter time in Melbourne and to sleep with just a bed sheet is terrible. We spoke with the reception and they said that they can't give a blanket !!!!! and they offered another bed sheet . Very very poor customer service. Also ,we ordered pasta from the in-house restaurant and it was cold .When we complained , they made us walk with the dish to kitchen to get it heated . When we came back to the room with the dish , it was not heated again and still cold .So we complained again to the reception who didn't help and just said that she will talk to the manager . Finally we had to order food online from outside and had to get it delivered. We are not cynical people . We are well travelled around the world (26 countries and hundreds of hotels we have stayed ) . We have never come across such a poor customer service .

  Sparkly newness aside (the rooms are well designed, the foyer is an open and very comfortable space), the customer service exceeded all expectations! After the ordeal of a last-minute flight cancellation, General Manager, Norman, welcomed a bombarding of 50 unexpected guests with the utmost patience, highest standard of customer service, and cheerfully familiar recognition. Truly world-class conduct on his part (and that of all staff, for that matter).

  Very beautiful new hotel near the airport (15mins drive away). Room was really lovely, clean and quiet. Had an early morning flight and had to leave by 5am or so which meant I couldn't try the breakfast. Staff were friendly enough but getting to the airport was a bit confusing. I was told to get in a taxi with other guests I did not know, but it was fine if you don't mind strangers in the morning.
